I was too busy girling out yesterday that I forgot to add I went to Culver's with my sisters and the Twi-Crew lol. It was super yummy! also, the cashier boy couldn't stop looking at me according to everyone hahaha. I asked Maria what she was giggling about and she's like the guy at the register likes youuuu lol! what?? I said and so when we walked outside to sit at a table, I noticed him staring from the corner of my eyes and maria watched too hahaha.
he was kind of cute, but eh lol not really for me.
Also, I found out from a certain someone that a certain other someone at school is mad crushing on me too. no it's not Alex. I was super surprised, and then shocked, and then weirded out. holy crap.
Haha, so anyway, CJ asked if I wanted to come watch a movie at his place tonight so I brought Tommy Boy since he'd never seen it, and we had some laughs cause that movie is hilarious! oh and during the movie he text me with a "Hello :)" haha I thought it was kind of cute since he knows I'm not really good at saying what I'm thinking, or vocalizing what I want to say.
So that was my sunday. Back to work tomorrow!

Lucky Me. (Day 125)
Finally The Magic Words! (Day 124)
I feel like such a girl right now. Remember when I said that I got the feeling CJ likes me? (post 108 or something like that). Well, we were texting last night and he was saying some really nice things about my musical talents and about me and whatnot and I said something like
"aw dude stop, you're too kind lol" and he replied,
"well cause I like you"
omgomgomg.
Did he really just admit it?! haha ah I knew it! as if it weren't already obvious or anything but still, I could tell. How cute lol. Oh and that's not all, he asked how I felt! :O truth is, I'm not entirely sure, this is all new to me, but I realized that most of the reason why I've been so nervous lately is not just due to finals, but because I get nerves around him! duh!
So I said I liked him too, and saying that to each other made everything feel so much easier to communicate. To me anyway, cause at least that uncertainty is vamoosh and we're being honest now. :)
He was really surprised I felt the same lol, and in a way so did I because I've known some guys that have had a small crush on me but I've never liked them back, or gave them a chance because I wasn't interested. With him it's different somehow. I can't explain it, and it's so weird that he isn't normally the type of guy I'd go after because I usually like white guys haha, and he's hispanic, but doesn't speak spanish. He doesn't have the rock star hair I usually swoon over in most guys nor the style that catches my eye, but I'm interested in him nonetheless. why?
I'd like to know too. Life is odd, and God works in mysterious ways, and then again, we had a class together last semester and had no clue til the end of the semester when we met for a minute. Then he sits at the station next to mine, not for the sake of sitting next to me, but because he had that station the semester before, and I sit at mine for the same reason. Coincidence? I dunno...
I'm curious to see where this will go, but for now, I'm glad we're friends. and that he 'fessed up. haha. ~.^
What I Did Today. (Day 123)
1. Visited my Tia Frances in the hospital. My whole family went because she got really sick again :(
2. Saw the new Eclipse trailer on Oprah while at the hospital.
3.Discovered a norweigan girl band on youtube and loved one of their songs for it uniquness so much that I learned it on guitar haha.
4. Thought about him. uh ohz! lol ^.^
5. Learned that he thought about me when I didn't get to visit today since I was at the hospital. aw.
6. Also learned that SB1070 passed. ugh.
that's all.
Earth Day (122)
Simple day. Went to school and then had a fresh lunch from Sprout's with Ashley.
It's nice out. I might grab the guitar and go sing mother nature a song. :)
Dun Dun DUUUN. (Day 110)
Wow. Today I was supposed to tackle vocals for my cover song, but that ended up being a total fail because of my shyness for singing in front of anyone other than a select few took over my vocal chords lol. I brought ashley for support, but even then it was hard to sing. I think it partly has to do with not wanting to sing in front of CJ cause:
A) I haven't known him as long as ashley.
B) I think he likes me
C) I'm starting to care what he thinks :x
ohmy, maybe I'll get a chance to do it tomorrow on campus. eeep.

Time Flies When You're Jamming. (Day 109)
Class seemed rather short, but I suppose that's what happens when you record because I did a few takes of bass for World Of Chances and next thing I knew, class was over lol. I spent some time in the lab and then headed over to CJ's for a bit to work on my listening journal. He played music on his itunes and I wrote about some of them since it was a change from my music and one of the songs that came on was from a band I'd never heard of called Westbound Train I really liked it and went home with it stuck in my head for the rest of the day lol. It's called "Cheers! The World's Almost Over"
Movie Sunday! (Day 108)
Got up pretty early this morning to go see Date Night with my girls, and while on the way to the theatre, saw a couple walking and the girl was wearing a The Material tote like mine! woo! I about stuck my head out the window and yelled something awesome haha.
The movie was hilarious, and cherry coke tasted amazing now that I can drink it again lol.
Straightening my hair before bed and getting excited to track bass tomorrow!

Collabify! . . .is that even a word? (Day 106)
Class was short today and since I had time left over before having to go to CJs for more recording, I worked on a song this guy Clarence and I are doing for our collaboration and we got a lot accomplished! I showed him the piano part I wrote and he had lyrics ready to go! It was awesome, I also helped add some rhymes in and we should be recording it sometime next week.
I worked on some of my listening journal entries at cjs and then went home.

My new friends are so adorable, and funny. So I met this guy Alex in my class and he's a friend of CJ's (who I'm starting to get the vibe digs me haha. . .cj not alex lol) and while I was waiting for my mom to get out of work so we could go to lunch for a friend's birthday, the three of us went into a practice room and I played a bit of piano then Alex showed us a song he learned in piano class. Anyway, I sat on the floor while he played, and CJ asked if he could join me, so I said of course and he did, then alex started playing a new song I didn't recognize, which he dedicated to the both of us! uh...hahaha
He made up some lyrics with it which was really adorable, but awkward at the same time haha, and I can't remember the name, but if I find it on youtube or something I'll share!
oh man, the rest of semester should be interesting. lolz
btw, lunch was awesome! had china place. Delish.
Practice Practice! (Day 104)
I took my guitar track into protools today at school and found that I rushed a bit after I heard it with everything else in Logic and so I had to do some Elastic Audio'ing on my guitar track.
It sucks because I haven't had much practice with elastic audio yet so I might just have to re-record guitar. great.
In other news, I had percussion practice today for my upcoming concert in May and got to try out my new instrument, or at least its prototype haha. PVC pipes!

Geetah. (Day 103)
I started recording guitar for my cover of "World of Chances" today! finally have my new capo and am ready to get down to business for these projects. I tracked at Cj's and thom engineered. I'm pretty happy with my takes so I'm gonna drop them into logic tomorrow!
I'm still really nervous though. I think I'm catching on to myself, but I'm kind of in denial right now. that last sentence made no sense, but I'll know what I mean soon enough. I need time. That also didn't make sense. Leave me alone. haha
