Remember December and 2010 (Day 339-365)

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS YEAR IS OVER!

Oh my god, they get faster and faster each year don't they?

This month was full of to-do's!

December

I got all my interning hours completed.

Played a percussion show.

Maria's boyfriend came here from texas to live with us for a while.

Got really into Telepopmusik

Wrote more songs! thanks to adam ;)

Got hit on massively by guys at school. huh??

Passed finals!

Vaccinated the puppies myself!

Bought christmas gifts!

Wrapped christmas gifts while Adam sang Day-O! hahah

Got into crocheting and made 2 scarves!

New years!!

December was so jam packed with things to accomplish but I got them all :) Speaking of accomplishments. How about we look back on my year? I know we can just read the previous posts, but here's my year in a nut-shell.

2010 has really been my year of firsts.

• Recorded my own music for the first time
• Played my first non-school show
• Pierced my nose
• got my first tattoo
• Turned 21!
• Met the love of my life
• Fell in love for the first time with my first and hopefully last boyfriend :)
• First long-distance relationship
• met some amazing new friends
• Lost an aunt for the first time
• Went to Cali for a day with Ash to see our friends in The Material
• Got my house painted
• put tile in my room
• minnie had puppies!
• Read some amazing books!
• Went to first friday for the first time
• Wrote lots of music
• fixed my car
• passed my finals
• became president of MECHA club
• Had my first clubbing experience
• Bought liquor for the first time though it wasn't for me lol
• considered some life-changing decisions
• went to shows
• cut my hair really short
• Learned to let go of things and people I didn't need in my life
• Made room for better things and people
• Fell even harder in love
• Look forward to rising in many aspects in 2011.

November's End (Days 336-338)

I interned today and was given a quick task to transfer some digital tape audio to the protools program lol basically listened to classical music for a half hour making sure there were no digital errors.

When I got home, vicky told me that her rooster was missing! hahaha we found him in the old dog house and ended up chasing him around the whole back yard until we finally got him back in the cage.

on the 30th I dropped my mom off at work and stopped at ACE Hardware store to pick up an air filter for the heater lol who does that at 8 in the morning? oh, me.

When I got to school I interned some more and learned a song for adam :D I hadn't heard the whole thing so I recorded it it as I learned it by ear ^.^ you can hear it here

November's over! :o went by fast and I'm excited for december because christmas is coming up!

Shutter Eyes. (Day 334)

Hello, Sunday.

Ashley came over today and we walked around my neighborhood to take photographs of orange objects for her assignment. We found little to nothing so we drove to my tia juanitas neighborhood. While walking through an alley, we found two kittens and immediately I recognized them to be my tia's lol. She and I beckoned it to come hither and when it did, ash carried it back to my tia's. I called to make sure she was home and she was so we dropped it off. Poor thing looked sick so hopefully she can be nursed back to health.

Going back into the alley, we saw the second kitty, who I assumed to be dead because it wasn't moving and ashley was like yes it is!! look it moved it's head! and I said no! it's just the wind lol but it turns out the kitty was alive. I believed it when it started getting up haha.

We took that one back to my tia's again and she said it was Zero. haha.

after that we finally started taking pictures :)

Writing. (Day 333)

Don't have much to report, other than I've been writing a lot of songs lately. six at once to be exact. :o lol

Glendale Glitters! (Day 332)

Glendale Glitters started tonight! I went with my mom and vicky because maria wasn't feeling well, and met my tia Juanita and Albert there.

Bought a hot chocolate and walked around with Vicky and Fabian, then snacked on some food and fabian bought tornado fries! lol it's basically a potato swirled on a skewer. so coool!

again, no pictures because of my dumb phone. :(

I took adam with me lol he was here spiritually. I can't wait to really be with him on these nights. It'll be amazing!

We had a good time and ate kettle corn too. :)

Happy Thanksgiving! (Day 331)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I woke up today to the scent of turkey cooking, cornbread stuffing, and potatoes boiling. I received a beautiful text from adam as well and got a feeling this day would rule.

After watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, my family and I headed over to my Tia Lupe's for food and family time!

I took pictures, but unfortunately my picture messaging is out of order so I can't post any :/

We ate outside (only in Arizona) and had a nice time getting stuffed and laughing.

I was texting Adam the whole time and let him know how truly thankful I am for having him in my life. He really has changed it completely and for the better. I like when things go right in my life, and for a long time they were right. I felt complete with my music and family and friends, but since he's waltzed in this year, I couldn't be happier. Being single was something I loved and was used to my whole life, I never needed a boyfriend. But when I met him, I couldn't let go, or get him off my mind. There was something, everything about him that I was drawn to. Now that we are each other's own, I am full.

Full of love, full of joy, full of endearment, and full of food! :D I really love him a lot a lot and I hope this lasts because we're amazing together. I know that sounds cliche, but we really are. I'm an indecisive and uncertain person, but this, I am sure of. and that's huge.

Autumn :) (Days 277-330)

I'm sorry I have to keep playing catch-up but it's so hard to post daily nowadays lol.

So here's another montage in words of October 2nd-November 24th.

October

I've been really involved in events at school. I helped the multicultural department make paper flowers for hispanic heritage month and have been running weekly meetings for MECHA.

I attended the hispanic women' conference with Jhannyn and my mom. It was amazing and so inspiring!

Adam and I are getting a lot closer now. :) He tells me all the time how much he loves me and I love saving his text messages sometimes because they're SO sweet. here's one from the 14th (warning: cheesy alert)

"I really do love you. I mean it when I say that you're rare to find because honestly I've had girlfriends that had at least one flaw and you don't have any. You're smart, funny, you love music, you're loveable, thoughful, have all the same interests and if we don't, we're not afraid to try :) I will never let you go because I lov3e you ^-^"

you see? god, he's so wonderful to me. he's wonderful in general.

Umm what else? oh yea we added each other on facebook, that was huge to me and he saw my photos and text me saying how beautiful I am and all these wonderful things that really made me blush :)

Halloween was okay, my dad had been in the hospital and we visited him which was nice. the girls and I went out the night before and dressed up in costume to go to a movie. we saw Paranormal Activity 2 o.o we shit our pants basically.

November

The first marked Adam and I's 2nd month together :D It's not once a month I realize how much I love him, but everyday. This day is only a marker in the timeline :)

I won a scholarship! I applied to the AACHE scholarship and won a $300 one and received it that week at the AACHE conference. my mom went and it was really nice.

I bought Halo Reach!! finallyyy lol.

bought some new tops at Ross.

Adam asked me if I think we went too fast in our relationship and i said define fast, he didn't think we did personally but he was worried that he made me say "i love you" before I was ready and I said oh no, I was sure I was ready to say it because I never say anything I don't mean :) He worried I'd be offended if he ever asked me something regarding our relationship that he was concerned about and I told him no, I want him to tell me these things because it's how we grow and learn, and make sure everything is working out :) He told me he loves me and that he always will, and as much as I want to say always, I just am soo afraid of an uncertain future so if I say I'll love him forever I worry that will become a lie in case something doesn't work out you know? it sucks. I do love him so very much though.

Stayed up playing xbox with adam and swank and I got bored so I took out the guitar and started playing. I hadn't realized they could hear me lol so we ended up having a jam session haha. I played a good number of songs and they were so relaxed. Swank hadnt heard the song I'd written for adam and so I played it and it made them both cry! I felt so touched.

Bought fabric to make adam a blanket and I got to sewing it immediately! My first blanket! it's gonna be bad ass. I cut up an old 1up shirt I had and sewed it on to the front, then sewed the back piece together and added the border, my mom helped me with that because satin is so hard to work with. heres the finished product!

I sent it along with the key to my heart necklace and a halo legends dvd. He got it and opened it while I was on the phone with him. omg such an awesome moment!!

Thanksgiving/Ashley's birthday is coming up!
